Following the overwhelming successes of previous LIBSS’s, I hereby announce the dates for the next symposium on 28th and 29th of November, 2024 face to face in the beautiful city of London – please pencil the dates NOW!. I look forward to welcoming you all again.
Once again, the LIBSS will bring together international and national faculty to an amazing program that is filled with talks, debates and panel discussion on controversies, management of complications and innovations in the field of obesity, bariatric and metabolic surgery. As before, there will also be talks for bariatric dieticians, psychologists and nurse specialists (Allied / Integrated Health Professionals) on both the days.
The Royal College of Surgeons of England has awarded up to 15 CPD points.
The abstract submission is now open. The winner of the best oral presentation will get an Editor signed copy of Obesity, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery – A Practical Guide.
LIBSS 2023 was organized face to face on 23rd and 24th November, 2023 at Homerton University Hospital in London. It was an overwhelming success with over 200 attendees (FULL HOUSE) from 21 different countries around the world – thank you to everyone who joined us. This year, a Hands-on Training Workshop – Bariatric Cadaveric Course was also organised on 22nd November at the Griffin Institute, Northwick Park & St Mark’s Hospital, Harrow, Middlesex in London for the first time.
LIBSS 2022 was organized face to face on 24th and 25th November, 2022 at the Grand Sapphire Hotel in Croydon within Greater London. It was an overwhelming success with approx. 250 attendees from 28 different countries around the world – thank you to everyone who joined us.
LIBSS 2021 was organized virtually on 25th & 26th November 2021. We had over 510 attendees from 45 different countries around the world.
LIBSS 2019 was a face to face meeting attended by over 200 attendees from over 21 countries organised within Homerton University Hospital, London.
